FAQs for Regiment

Behind the advanced genetics of Regiment’s breeding background are genes that drive high oil yield. Regiment XC consistently results at harvest in the top percentiles of oil yield across a wide range of Australian environments.

Regiment XC having a easily managable medium height, makes it conducive for many growers to direct harvest. Regiment’s observed pod shatter tolerance in trials across Australia is visually comparible with some other popular hybrids.

Regiment XC carries a powerful quadgene ADFH major blackleg resistance. This specific combination of major genes along with its qualitative minor gene resistance currently remains an effective mechanism against the blackleg fungus in many canola growing regions of Australia for both Crown Canker and Upper Canopy Infection (UCI).

Regiment XC has excellent early vigour which allows it to emerge effectively under a wide range of soil types and sowing dates. In addition to this, it’s flexibility with flowering timing by physiologically adjusting for drier tougher or wetter more favourable seasons leads to adaptable yield performance for growers.

NO. Regiment XC is a solid TruFlex variety with competitive yields to Roundup Ready, TruFlex and OptiGly hybrids but also contains the added value of being fully tolerant of the Clearfield chemistry. Regiment XC can be grown as a straight Truflex only or you can utalise the CL tolerance to your advantage where you have IMI soil residue carryover or require use of IMI chemistry for additional weed control. Remember you can use either or both chemistries with Regiment XC, whatever you require for your rotations.

Regiment XC provides growers with enhanced “value added” flexible IWM and rotational options whilst delivering highly competitive yield, oil and blackleg resistance.
